The Nutcracker

Studios Dance Academy has been putting on a beautiful production of "The Nutcracker Ballet" each and every year since the very beginning. The holiday season has become such an important time for our studio and each of the dancers that participate. We can't wait to share the magic with you!

Our audition process is extremely simple. No experience is needed as long as the dancer has a passion for dance and the holiday season! Dancers 4-7 in age  do not need to audition, simply call/ email the studio to sign up and they will be assigned a role. We encourage cast members to participate in at least one ballet class per week in order to prepare for the show. 

Rehearsals are held once a week on Saturday afternoons. Rehearsal times vary weekly and are announced on the website each Monday. Younger dancers have shortened rehearsal times though times vary based on assigned roles and levels. As the show approaches, dancers will be required to attend an in-studio dress rehearsal as well as a stage dress rehearsal prior to the show.
