The competition team is an elite team at SDA that competes several times a year against different dance studios including a national competition. Auditions are required to become a part of our competition team.

Mini company is for dancers ages 12 and under or those with less experience. Our mini company dancers compete a group dance, take part in team production number, and have the option to compete a solo, duo, or trio.

Junior company is for dancers of all ages with more experience and higher skill levels. Junior company dancers compete a group dance, take part in both our team production number and Junior/ Senior line dance, and have the option to compete solos, duos, and trios.

Senior company is the most advanced company at SDA. Senior dancers are typically high school upperclassmen with a lot of experience in the dance world and competing. Our senior company competes a similar amount of dances to the Junior company but with more complex choreography and higher levels of commitment.
